Logging into MyCampus Portal

  • What is my username?
    Most students username will be their firstname_lastname## (##being the last 2 digits of their student ID). If your full name (including the underscore) is longer than 18 characters, the last name will be dropped. Your login will then follow this format: firstname## (## being the last 2 digits of your Student ID). There may be circumstances where a students username does not follow these guidelines. If you continue to experience problems, the Admissions' Office can provide you with your username.
  • What is my Password?
    Unless you have changed your password, the default password is your 6 digit Student ID then the first letter of both your first and last name capitalized then#asumh. Example: 123456AB#asumh.
  • How do I reset my password?
    A password reset server is available for you to change your password 24/7. Please use the following link to reset your password:   If you are logged onto a campus computer you can use CTRL-ALT-DELETE and then Change a Password to set a new password. If you still have trouble with the login please call the Help Desk at (870) 701-0523.

  • What is my username or password to install Office 365?
    Your username is your student email address and your password is the same password you use to log into the MyCampus portal. Your student email address is your MyCampus portal
  • What software is available for download?
    All currently enrolled students have free access to Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus.
  • What's included with Office if you download it from O365?
    The latest full versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Publisher, and Access.
  • How do I download the Office Suite?
    You can download Office by clicking on the Office 365 Quick Link inside the MyCampus portal.
  • What are the computer requirements to downloading Office? Please note that Office will not install on a Chromebook. 
    • Operating System: Windows 10
    • Memory: 4 GB RAM min 
    • Disk space: 3 gigabytes (GB)  (must have this available on your computer free for software to install)
    • Monitor Resolution: 1024 X 768
  • How many computers can I install Office Suite on?
    Install on up to 5 machines (PC or Mac) and up to 5 mobile devices with Office Mobile for Android or Office Mobile for iPhone. Plus, the new Office can be installed side by side with previous versions of Office. If a sixth installation is needed, one of the previous 5 will first have to be deactivated.
  • What if I buy a new computer?
    You can install Office Suite on up to 5 computers for free. If a sixth installation is needed, one of the previous 5 will first have to be deactivated.  Please note that the Office Suite will not install on a Chromebook. 
  • Will I need Internet access to use Office 365?
    No. Internet access is only needed during the download and installation. After installation, no Internet access is needed to use the Office 365 apps.

  • My classes aren't showing up. What do I do?
    Generally, classes will not be available in Blackboard until a few days before classes start. If your class has already begun, please contact the instructor of the class or the Admission's Office.
  • What do I do if I am in the middle of a test and it freezes? or What if I lose power or Internet access while taking a test?
